Why do people feel the need to talk during an entire film? Is it impossible for some people to be silent for two hours? Why don't they just text each other, in that case?

I like to watch...
...too much television. I also like movies: blockbusters, independent films, documentaries, Bollywood musicals, romantic comedies, Judd Apatow movies, Will Ferrell movies, English comedies of manners, costume dramas, sexy movies about perversions. I don't like torture porn, slasher movies, reality shows or cable news. I like Dexter but not The Bachelor or Wife Swap. Dexter can kill those people, as far as I'm concerned -- in a fictional way, of course.
